i can honestly say,in my opinion,this fight would be at a standstill,i can't decide which is better,i grew up with both! and to be fair,thats not "nickelodeon" thats "nicktoons" theres a difference(hint:nickelodeon sucks,and nicktoons kicks ass!!!) there are nickelodeon characters in there thogh,so id sy its even,but 96% is nicktoons,and this is kinda dorky,but my top favs from nicktoons are X-J9,snap,GIR,and DP

These two once great networks, from a nonbiased pov, were at a tie in their prime. However, Cartoon Network was my absolute favorite channel back in the day. Don't get me wrong; I loved Catdog, Spongebob, FoP, and Avatar, but Cartoon Network had Time Squad, PPG, Cow and Chicken, Sheep in the Big City, Grim and Evil, and the Toonami block (no CN original shows, but still worth mentioning).

Today, Nick and CN are getting their butts handed to them by Disney Channel (PnF and Gravity Falls) and the Hub (MLP). CN is getting back on its feet (Adventure Time, Regular Show, and Cartoon Planet), but it still has a ways to go before reaching back to its former glory.
